Activities and services available through our residential aged-care services are extended to retirement residents and in turn those residents are involved in volunteering with fundraising and activities. We support residents to stay independent for as long as possible.

Admission Criteria

Admission to Havilah on Harkness, for either permanent residential care or short-term respite, requires an assessment by the local Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). This assessment helps determine the level of care and support you need and whether residential aged care is the most suitable option, or if home-based services may be more appropriate. Your GP can help arrange a referral to ACAT. Once your assessment is complete, our team will guide you and your family through placement options, availability, and next steps.
