At Havilah, community is everything. Our volunteers are the heart of what we do, with more than 120 generous people giving their time, skills, and care to support residents and their families.

Whether it’s helping with catering, sharing music or entertainment, offering transport, lending a hand at events, or simply sitting down for a chat and a cup of tea, our volunteers make a real difference every day.​ We welcome people from all walks of life to share their experience and kindness with our residents.

Volunteers also play a big role in our fundraising efforts, through groups like our local Auxiliary and Catering Committee. Their dedication helps Havilah continue to grow and improve for everyone. Each year, we celebrate their efforts at our annual volunteer dinner, a small way of saying thank you for all they do.

Our residents enjoy a full calendar of celebrations throughout the year, from the Melbourne Cup and ANZAC Day to Easter, Mother’s Day, and Christmas. Thanks to the support of our volunteers, these events are filled with life, laughter, and community spirit.
