Raglan House opened in March 2013 and comprises two floors of apartment style living, setting a new standard in residential aged-care, ensuring autonomy and style in self-contained comfort. Just a short stroll away from the CBD, medical clinics, clubs, restaurants and cafes – Raglan House offers magnificent views and modern conveniences. Each of the 30 apartments has a floor space in excess of 53m2, suitable for couples. Apartments offer spacious interiors including full en-suite, separate WC, bedroom, sitting room and kitchenette. Kitchenettes offer autonomy and convenience, while second bathrooms offer added comfort for residents and visitors. Bedrooms are spacious, and adjoining walk-in robes have extraordinary storage space. Sitting rooms are light and airy with room for relaxing and receiving guests. All apartments have large windows to enable residents to take in the views of our historic school building, the grounds or the adjoining neighbourhood whilst many rooms have wonderful views of the Maryborough skyline. Quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings are maintained to a very high standard.
Raglan House is a very safe facility and has many measures in place to stop the spread of fire and smoke and to provide for safe evacuation in the case of a fire – this includes fire and smoke compartments, sprinklers and smoke alarms. HAVILAH IS A SMOKE FREE SITE and therefore smoking is not permitted on site at any time. Backup power is in place over the entire site. Residents have access to WiFi and AUSTAR in their apartment or in any of the public areas or the community centre. The resident call system is WiFi based, giving flexibility in positioning of call points. Residents have access to a pendant alarms and GPO trackers. Direct dial telephone access enables contact with care staff and other residents at the push of a button.

ROOM PRICING
Maximum Price = $266,000. This can be paid as a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) or a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) or a combination of both.

Comfortable chairs flank the hallways of Raglan House and create atmospheric reading and meeting areas that might be part of a luxurious hotel experience. Raglan House has 2 private dining facilities with kitchenettes and activity/ lounge areas located on each floor (4 in total). Residents have access to AUSTAR in each of the lounge areas. Raglan House residents can get together for shoot and shuffle, cards, indoor bowls, bingo, choir, church services in any one of our light filled activity areas and for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main dining room.
Havilah on Palmerston celebrates the glamour of a heritage building redesigned into a light-filled community centre “Orana”. Residents can access the internet café, recreation and media area, function rooms, hair and beauty salon, treatment and consulting rooms and library at Orana. Raglan House apartments are linked to the main dining room and to Orana by a glass corridor, providing a seamless transition between the old and the new. Spacious outdoor paving in the quadrangle and under the wide verandahs of Orana provide a relaxing external environment for the quiet enjoyment of residents and families. The grounds have expanses of grass and are bordered by gardens, while a palm tree from the days of the school reminds us of the building’s past and also lends an exotic feel.
