At Havilah when it comes to water conservation we believe in saving every drop
A beautiful garden is uplifting for all who are able to enjoy it. At Havilah, we have many water conservation programs in place to facilitate the garden for our residents and visitors. In 2007, with the help of a $40,777 Community Water Grant through the Australian Government Water Fund, a sophisticated rainwater collection and storage system was developed.
Havilah is committed to continuing it's water saving program. We encourage community groups and the general community to think about what projects, small or large they could initiate.

Havilah uses a range of strategies to minimise water usage including syphonic water collection, 600,000 litre rainwater storage, bore water, recycled water, underground sprinklers, drip watering system, smart grass, native gardens and an Ozone Laundry System. In 2007 Havilah installed the Ozone Laundry System saving 40% of laundry water usage alone.
